{"id":31279,"date":"2025-07-23T08:31:04","date_gmt":"2025-07-23T08:31:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xlence-com.wp-dev.int.theitops.net\/?post_type=news_analysis&#038;p=31279"},"modified":"2025-12-19T12:26:12","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T12:26:12","slug":"us-and-japan-reach-trade-deal","status":"publish","type":"news_analysis","link":"https:\/\/www.xlence.com\/fr\/news-analysis\/us-and-japan-reach-trade-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"US and Japan reach trade deal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>President Trump\u2019s most recent post lifted optimism for the auto sector since the US and Japan have reportedly reached a trade deal that includes a 15% tariff on Japanese exports towards the US. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The originally proposed tariff rate was 25% and the deal is considered a major advancement in trade relations between the US and Japan, easing earlier tariff tensions and expanding bilateral investment and market access. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the deal also entailed preliminary plans for half a trillion investments by Japan into the US market, with the US reportedly receiving 90% of the profits but also will benefit from the creation of much needed new jobs that President run on at his pre-election campaign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement also entails improved market access for US agricultural products in Japan, including cars, trucks, rice, and specific agricultural products, which Japan agrees to open its market for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The news sparked broad-based gains in Japan\u2019s stock market, led by Japanese automakers.
